Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial use by shoppers in Cyprus.

Browsing prices is free and needs no account. To use AI features you create an account and sign in with a one-time link or code sent to your email (and optionally Google sign-in). You are responsible for keeping access to that inbox secure and for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from the app, which erases your personal data and cancels any active subscription.

Prices, availability, savings, units, ingredients and other product information shown in the Service are gathered from third-party sources (including public supermarket data and community submissions) and are refreshed periodically. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or wrong, and they can differ from the actual price or product in-store.

The Service is an information and comparison tool, not an offer to sell and not a substitute for checking the shelf. Always confirm the current price and product details in-store before you buy. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for purchasing or other decisions you make based on the figures or information shown.

TrolleyCY is not a source of medical, dietary, nutritional or health advice. Product data (including any ingredient, allergen or nutrition information) and AI-generated recipes, comparisons and suggestions are general information only and may be incomplete or incorrect.

• If you have a food allergy, intolerance or medical/dietary condition, always read the physical product label and manufacturer information before buying or consuming any product. Never rely on the app for allergen or safety decisions.
• Recipe, nutrition and health-comparison content is not professional advice. Consult a qualified doctor, pharmacist or dietitian for medical or dietary decisions.
• You are solely responsible for what you choose to buy, cook and eat.

AI features (chat, recipe ideas, list scanning and product comparison) are provided to assist you and are limited to grocery and food-shopping topics. AI output is generated automatically, can be inaccurate or incomplete, and should be verified before you rely on it. AI features do not make any automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you. We may set fair-use limits and may change, limit or withdraw AI features at any time.

AI features require a paid subscription billed monthly through our payment provider, Stripe. Current price: €1.99 per month (plus VAT where applicable). By subscribing you authorise us, via Stripe, to charge your payment method the recurring fee.

• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We never see or store your full card details — they are handled by Stripe.
• We may change the subscription price or features. We will give you reasonable advance notice, and any change applies from your next billing period; if you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
• If a payment fails, access to AI features may be paused until payment succeeds.

You can cancel any time from the app (Manage subscription). On cancellation you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. Except where the law requires otherwise, we do not provide refunds for partial or unused periods.

EU/EEA consumers — 14-day right of withdrawal. As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for a digital service without giving a reason. Because the subscription gives you immediate access to a digital service, when you subscribe you expressly ask us to start it right away and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed. If you withdraw within 14 days before the period has been fully used, you may owe an amount proportionate to what you have used. To withdraw or request a refund, email contact@ludehq.com from your account email.

You agree not to:

• scrape, crawl or bulk-extract data, or access the Service by automated means beyond normal personal use;
• overload, disrupt, probe or attempt to break the security of the Service;
• misuse the AI features, attempt to bypass their limits or safeguards, or use them for anything outside grocery/food shopping;
• resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the Service or its data; or
• use the Service for anything unlawful or that infringes others' rights.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms or put the Service or other users at risk.

If you submit a price report or other content, you confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and grant us a licence to use it to operate and improve the Service. Do not submit personal data about others or anything unlawful.

The Service, its design, software and content (excluding third-party data and your own submissions) belong to LudeHQ and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service under these Terms. Supermarket names, logos and product data belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

The Service relies on and links to third parties (for example supermarkets, Stripe for payments, and AI providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, their content, or their availability, and your use of them may be governed by their own terms.

We aim to keep the Service available and accurate but provide it "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the Service, prices or AI output will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or accurate. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LudeHQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, from prices or product/allergen information shown, or from AI output. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any of your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer. Nothing here affects your non-waivable consumer-protection rights under Cyprus and EU law.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the date below and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes are subject to the Cyprus courts. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
